Vacancy Chemical Research Scientist

Delft, February 2nd 2023

Company description

Voyex is on a mission to make hydrogen a true alternative for diesel in powering heavy duty mobility applications. We are a technology driven start-up and develop a new Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC). The liquid can be used as a fuel, directly in applications like ships, trains, trucks, gensets and off-road equipment. Our core focus is on synthesizing the liquid, storing hydrogen in the liquid and releasing hydrogen from the liquid inside or onboard the end-application.

In the course of 2021, Voyex has proven on laboratory scale that it is able to make this new supply chain work. In 2022 and 2023 we have installed a (de-)hydrogenation unit in the laboratory and progressed our efforts. It is now time to take it out of the lab and demonstrate in an operational setting that our fuel is easy to use, has superior energy efficiency performance and, not the least, is safe in operations. Our ambition is to make our LOHC a new industry standard produced out of bio (waste) streams by 2030 for powering heavy duty applications. Together with your help our focus for the coming years will be to scale-up and optimize our technology. Will you join our Voyage Extraordinaire?
